About the Curriculum
The One Clip Care Curriculum is built around the award-winning documentary Paper Clips, using its powerful story to help students look inward, examine their communities, and step into their role as changemakers.
Students don’t just learn about the effects of hate—they learn to lead with empathy, think critically, and take action.
The One Clip Teaching Kit
Educators who complete our free institute receive a comprehensive Teaching Kit, including:
- The Paper Clips film (streaming + DVD), divided into lesson-based chapters
- A teacher’s guide with five ready-to-use lesson plans
- Primary source materials and classroom extensions
- Seminar topics and hands-on activities
- Background resources and a companion presentation
Each lesson is designed to spark conversation, deepen understanding, and inspire action.

Each summer, One Clip offers free, interactive institutes for educators ready to bring this work into their classrooms and communities.
Participants receive:
- Virtual training on the curriculum and service-learning model
- Full access to all teaching materials and multimedia resources
- Practical tools for launching student-driven projects
- A live Q&A with the educators behind the Paper Clips Project
The experience is fully virtual, highly engaging, and open to educators of all backgrounds.
